Tennessee has done ok with basketball players out of New York in the past. Take.

Side note: isn't that the high school Chamique Holdsclaw went to?
yes she went to Christ the King in Queens NYC so it looks like its the same school other alumni are
Lamar Odom, Sue Bird, Tina Charles, Jayson Williams, Omar Cook, Speedy Claxton, Jose Alvarado, and Khalid Reeves.

Would love to see Barnes recruiting Melo's son and ask him why he had to do him dirty and drop 33 points on him in the Final Four lol. Melo was one of the best scorers the game has ever witnessed. His jump shot was so smooth.

As someone with a degree from Texas and a lot of friends who went to Syracuse, this post brings back bad memories!

When we were up in NYC for the Vols final game, it was mentioned that Kansas State had three guys on their team from Harlem.

Therefore, my wife and I rode the subway up to 116th street. We scouted some street ball.

Yeah, both Coach Barnes and Coach Harper need to add a scout for that area. They can hoop.

The kids that play in the streets are NO joke.
