Has anybody been to a movie in the new theaters? I just saw 21 Jump Street at the one in Maryville over the weekend.
The screen is cool. It's huge. But the DTS is absolutely insane. It produces audio on a level I've never experienced. I'm not really an audiophile, but it seems like the cleanest bass I've heard.
Hell, it made the Titanic preview pretty damn intense. At the end of the preview, I thought for a second I actually wanted to see the remastered Titanic movie.
I cannot wait to see Batman in this theater.
It's also really fun to tell all the cashiers and ticket takers "Hi, we're here to experience the Big D!" "Can you direct us to the Big D?"
