I'm putting this up, to warn anyone thinking about going to this movie theatre. My wife's car and two others were broken into yesterday, at this theatre. There has been 2 other weekends this has happened at the same theatre.

This theatre has no cameras in the section where my wife's car was sitting and they have no security until the 7pm showing.

If you plan on going to this theatre. make sure all valuables are out of sight and try to park in a area where they have cameras. also, wait till the 7pm showing of any movie.

Sounds like that whole area is getting bad. Used to frequent that theater often when I lived in Knoxville.

I remember this place being one of the premier places in K-town. How times have changed :(

If you have to use security at a movie theater, it's probably not the safest place to be.

whoevers doing it, is just breaking out the windows.

It's likely the same person or group of people. Sorry that happened to you.

I live in west Knoxville so I generally don't go down to that area unless I have to. I've never thought of that area in general as being "nice". We haven't been to the movies in a while but when we'd go it was typically either West Town Mall, Carmike off North Peters by Lowes, or Pinnacle at TC.

It's happened multiple times to people working out at Planet Fitness or the Crossfit place in the Kingston Pike Home Depot shopping center. They finally got a security guy to drive around after dark.

What really pisses me off. They didn't get but 70$ and the window will cost 200 or more to replace. And, they got my daughter's purse, that had her drivers license and her debit card.
