Hope the Gamecocks can get over on their rival today. I'm headed up to the game in a little bit.

I fear the thumb. If Clemson wins, it'll be five in a row!

I picked Clemson in this one... I'm primarily gonna be watching UF-FSU but I'll flip over to that one as well.

I thought that too . . . although the FG was to tie.

SC had that one coming though. Clemson was charmed all day long.

I had a strong feeling Clemson would win. It just seemed like South Carolina kept shooting themselves in the foot too much to win it... But they did, some way, some how. The Gamecocks are a very undisciplined team. I guess the ACC is just that bad.

I don't know that SC is undisciplined. They just had a really rough day . . . That they got away with.

That was typical Clemson football though. They are remarkably inconsistent.

I managed to turn it over to ESPN in time to see Holtz slobber all over the set blathering on and on about how USC outplayed Clemson all day and the best team won all the while holding in that crap eating grin of his. I thought that was interesting considering Clemson was up 28-14 at one time. Did USC have a bunch of turnovers or something?

A bunch of turnovers doesn't begin to describe it. There was some goofy stuff going in Clemson's favor all game long.

I'm sure you'll eventually see the deflected pass for an INT that Clemson got. It looked like one of those old Playstation plays where the ball magically deflects into a guy's hands.

Yep... The big ol' d-lineman grabbed it and ran it about 80 or 90 yards.

I'm still trying to figure out how South Carolina won that game. A strange day in college football to be sure...

I just hope USC pounds Notre Dame or Holtz might get his first wood in 30 years.

Alright, just making sure... couldn't quite tell considering by the end of his speech Rece and Mark had lost it and were just shaking their heads at him.

Did you see the gameday picks? The USC-ND one rolls around, Holtz is up first to pick and Mark May's face just says "Ten million dollars says he picks Notre Dame."

It is pretty bad when Holtz's cohosts are lampooning his propensity to pick his former employers.

I don't think he's picked against SC or ND all year long.

I can't believe we won. Carolina had more success against the Clemson defense than any team this year which was amazing to me. All of the mental errors and bad bounces that should have come back to haunt us somehow did not.

Someone said that God was smiling on the Gamecocks today. I say that if anything, He must have felt sorry for us for all of the close losses.

South Carolina won this game in spite of themselves. But to tell you the truth, I just don't care. We won, and Monday is going to be a GREAT day at work!
