I haven't heard much about these guys and I know that we are replacing most of our defensive line and I was wondering if volnation see any of these guys have a impact this coming year.

Dewayne Hendrix will most likely be making an impact on our d-line next season. Big-time talent

Heard some high praise for Jaylen before the 2013 season began, so I imagine he will be in the rotation in 2014. Didn't hear much about the other two which means nothing BTW. Carr should be in the DT two deep for sure because numbers are thin there.

I just hope that there is somebody that is not a in coming freshman that is going to step up and play cause we need some great play from the upper class that we have.

carr is a DT - miller is a SDE

both have a good chance at the 2 deep

but my guess would be Jwilliams and Hendrix end up being the 1-2 at SDE

Carr may well start this year - we need him to really progress - he/saulsberry/juco will be competing for that DT spot

I'm pretty sure Maggit will play DE. He is huge now no way he is playing exclusively at LB.

Maggit is listed at 6'3 239 which is basically AJ Johnson size but Maggit is much faster. Probably depends on which Freshman are ready to play. It's going to be nice to have depth and options on defense for a change.

Any word on if Kendal Vickers has skills?

I should have named this thread who thinks Hendrix is going to be a star lol. But in all due he ONE guy and he can't play all 4 position of the defensive line . As I think it has showed over the last few years is we need more than just one guy to step up and be a star.

Hendrix won't start as a true freshman in the SEC. Sorry but isn't going to happen! You all need to quit putting such hefty expectations on this kid like he is Clowney coming in!!!

not sure on his skills but Vickers has added some weight - he is repping at DT in the spring

I didnt see anyone saying that in this thread - just that he has a chance to get a lot of reps

and he certainly does have a chance for that - Jwilliams will likely be the starter at SDE but we don't have a heck of a lot else to plug in there at SDE so he will have a great chance to make the 2 deep and see significant snaps

I talked with Jason's dad the other day, and he is for sure going to be a DT. He said Jason is learning technique. He didn't have a Position coach in HS and just played off raw talent, so he is transitioning.
