it is really funny, how the left calls people racist just because they're scared to debate the topics.

My prediction (hope I'm right) is that the overuse of this accusation will lessen the power of the accusation.

Clearly racism is a real problem. However, it appears to be about the worst thing someone can be accused of.

if the country is so racist, how did the guy get elected? how was his approval rating through the roof? did America suddenly realize that he is black?

People were saying that if BHO was elected, race relations would be better.....the "races" will not let it get better...the blacks, and one absolutely ignorant white lady in NY, just have a bigger platform from which to make the claim

its amazing, something we have pushed so hard to get passed is now being used in a reverse role

When you hear the organizer of the 'tea parties' describing the POTUS as 'an indonesian muslim turned welfare thug' its hard not to draw the conclusion that race is somewhat a factor...

Funny thing is, driving in this a.m. caught a few minutes of Glenn Beck, and he and his sidekick were going on and on about how Carter said an "overwhelming majority" of the attacks on Obama were racial. And they spent five minutes dissecting what overwhelming "majority" meant and how it meant that Carter was saying most of the protestors are racist.

And then they played the clip. And he didn't say that. He said an overwhelming portion, which is susceptible to an entirely different meaning.

And then listening to Beck and his idiotic colleague trying to backtrack on what they had been ranitng about. It was hilarious.

are you suggesting that Glenn Beck might take a partial quote, ignore all context and meaning and then simply break out into hysterical whining?? Wow, my faith in TV/Radio news is really being tested today.

And that changes that Carter is an idiot playing the race card how?

Fair enough, so what does overwhelming portion mean? Does that mean the portion that is racist overwhelms the portion that is not?

We can play word games all day long but any honest person can figure out what he meant with that statement.
