I know that someone is going to throw the OL arguement in my face, but the following except is an excellent example as to why we shouldn't get too upset if we don't have a #1 recruiting class.

Bill Curry, the coach of Georgia State’s new football program, hopes Wednesday’s headliners keep a level head.

“I didn’t get to start [as a player] at Georgia Tech until the fourth game of my fourth year, and people didn’t think a thing about it,” said Curry, who went on to play on Super Bowl champions in Green Bay and Baltimore. “Now, they say, ‘I saw you on TV last year. Why aren’t you playing?’ That pressure is not good, but we live in a media-, celebrity-driven age.”

IMHO: Our coaches' ability to evaluate + Our coaches's ability to coach = a bright future!

I think they are doing fine. I never intended to suggest anyone could have done better or that they weren't doing the right thing or that they weren't bringing in some good players at most positions.

My only point is/was that they aren't filling the most glaring need UT has. Not their fault. Not fair... nonetheless, reality.

im thinking that clk has a back up plan for if things start going bad right out the shoot tomorrow. a m. brown or a d. myles, would probably get the ball rolling in the right direction. if the big names pass us over, then i think clk has about 7-10 guys waiting in the wings. lesser knowns but guys that are willing to wait for UT. i just dont see clk not bringing in more beef on the lines when we have this many open spots still.

With coaches (around the nation) winning games with the previous coaches recruits, I wish Fulmer had left the cupboard a little more full. Then, again maybe Kif can serve up something better using the same ingredients.
