Tonight in Rupp Arena, live today on College Gameday, it's the Old Blood of the SEC against the New Blood. It's 7 titles against French guy with ponytail! It's.... gonna be fun.

:good!:

Are you going McCat? I have vowed never to set foot in Rupp again...unless I have lower arena seats. There is quite a buzz around Lex today. Should be a good game. Crawford, Bradley and Morris have to come ready to play.

When you put it that way, I am for the French guy

Actually, my club is having some big deal to watch this game. It will be shoulder to shoulder with Cat fans who know nothing about basketball other than Tubby sucks but they are for him. It will be much more fun if they all go home sad.

Lex, have you been in Rupp since the re-model?

I was quite impressed with the Lexington Center. It is a shame they did not have all the updates when the Thoroughblades were in town.

Not there, I'm afraid. I'm watching it on my couch. Go Cats!

Rupp looks awesome.

Make sure to do the Checkerboard thingie again this year. It was very effective last season.

Wow. From what little I have watched, Kent. has been awful behind the line. But they make the ones they need. Down by three with 18 seconds left.

Wow . . . Florida did everything they could to keep Kentucky in the game.

Victory is ours. Bow down to the new kings of the SEC.:peace2:

Congrats on the win, but either team didn't do much that impressed me last night.

Kentucky's inability to hit free throws, coupled with going 3-for-22 from the 3-point line sealed the loss.

Enjoy your run, but be advised: teams come and go in their dominance, but Kentucky is still there. Ask Mississippi State of the 60s. Ask Tennessee of the 70's. Ask LSU of the 80s. You might take your turn, but Kentucky will always return to the head of the class after a down year or two.

Arrogance? Maybe, but no more than I see in Gainesville right now. See you at O'Connell in a few weeks.

I still would count us out when we play them here. I was thinking yesterday though during the vandy game, that if that were flordia not vandy we most likely still would have needed more for the win. But no one gave us a chance twice last year either.

I see what you're saying. Obviously, I think after this year when the 04s leave, we'll be a lot weaker than we are now - but yeah, I'm definitely enjoying it. It's games like this we would have lost last year, but I think our level of experience prevented that from happening.

I have and will always respect UK as a basketball power. They're always a good team and I love our games with them. Cant wait to camp out for the game in March!

Congrats on a hard fought game..but ofcourse I saw the game in a different light. This game showed how good UF really is..Two bigs in early foul trouble where they only played half the game..coupled with a horrible shooting night from Hump and they still lead tip to final buzzer with a comfortable lead all game.

Also, I dont forsee this Gator team going so quickly..sure UF will be down a lil next yr..but Billy is reloading with a top 10 class next yr.

UK put up a heckuva fight... too much, in my opinion. :)

Good luck to'em the rest of the way, BM. Unless they play the Vols again, or something. :)
