Time for UK to break the 7 game loss streak to the lizards.

Hard to believe that's true, what with us beating the Gators 5 of the last 6.

j/k - I was at the UK game last weekend and was wholly impressed with CBG - the guy can flat-out coach. Even undermanned, I like the Cats' chances today.

It really comes down to the seniors being on.

UF is up 19-12 with 11:30 left in first half. Amazingly enough, UF has yet to miss a FG.....again.

And once again the Gators completely fall apart in the second half. Kentucky throwing up prayers and they are all going in.

Hello NIT.

they did the exact same thing against us. Run down the shot clock and seem to score with 2 sec left

It's what you have to do when you have your best player out for the season and a shallow bench.

been watching since 5 min mark. UK has gotten many calls, and Bradley should have just been Td for walking through Ufs huddle

UK shoulda gone for the flush. When you have it that open under the basket....

Although the Gators will lose this, and maybe by double digits, I am pleased that the Gators closed from 13 to 4 in the last few minutes. Good sign for next year.

You should know by now that the words gators and respect are rarely mentioned in here on the same page, much less the same post.

Looks like UK has found their offense. Let Bradley dribble for 20 seconds, pass the ball and pull a 3 pointer out of your butt.

What would one call this offense?

The 06-07 and 07-08 Gators went 18-0 in postseason play. Until you manage half that, you need to show some respect.
why would I NEED to do anything? that team in no way resembles this one. this one deserves nothing from me, except maybe some cheers during the NIT.

Until you realize you're on an opposing fanbase's forum, you need to show some respect, something you haven't done in 2 years.

That makes no sense at all. First, I have shown plenty of respect. Many time. Doesn't mean I just tell you how great you are. You seem to need no help there.

Second, saying I need to show respect to UT in the bball context especially is just a little premature.

Third, you confuse ''respect'' with politeness. I must be polite, and feel that I am 98 pct of the time.

You have to earn respect and your bball team is in a great position to get that, but its only potential until you see the third weekend of the NCAA tournament.

Ah yes, the all knowing LawGator. Wasn't a basketball fan until 2005.

Get over yourself.

somebody's upset their team is going to the NIT <img src="images/smilies/default/birgits_giggle.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Birgits Giggle" smilieid="255" class="inlineimg" />

Not really. I was surprised midway through the SEC season that the Gators were 6-2 and in the hunt for an NCAA bid. I am sort of dissapointed that we will miss the tourney for the first time in a decade, but it was expected.
