everyone talks about what a loyal guy izzo is but how come EVERY year his name gets brought up for coaching vacancies. i know he hasnt left yet but its funny to me that not an offeseason goes by that he isnt mentioned for a HC position.
At least Coach K is just every other year,

Izzo could get better NBA jobs, for just as much money, than being LeBron James' waterboy. If I were him, I wouldn't touch this even if I knew LeBron was coming back to Cleveland.

I don't know about that, I don't think any coach would miss out on coaching lbj and the studs that will surely be coming to cleveland if he stays.

Agreed. If Brown was halfway competent, that team would have been a staple in the Finals the last several years.

I know 'Bron got some blame for the playoff losses, but I thought Mike Brown and Danny Ferry should have been on the chopping block.

I also don't see 'Bron playing for Izzo.

The Cavs are going to offer the only amount of money that will be able to lure Izzo from Michie St. This is the one time I think Izzo is honestly ever going to consider leaving MSU.

Maybe 'Bron has seen that he can't win when he is virtually coaching the team. Having a guy like Izzo would do them a lot of good if 'Bron will buy in.

I think LeBron is too much of a "me first" player to play for Izzo. Izzo doesn't take sh**. That's just the vibe I get from watching him since he got drafted. I think he would rather go sign with another high profile free agent and have free reign of the team

Pretty sure I just heard on ESPN that Izzo is en route to Cleveland to meet with Cavs officials.

Starting to sound like this deal is going to happen.

I think the team that LeBron goes to might as well not even bother having a coach. Unless it's a Larry Brown type, I think a Larry Brown type of coach would do wonders for LeBron. you wanna talk about a guy who doesn't take sh##. Most players that played for him hated him, not as a coach, just because of his hard nosed no nonsense personality. Idk about you, but i saw entirely too much singing, dancing, and laughing in cleveland last year. Even though they ended up with the best record in the league, they lacked the professionalism that you see with teams like the Lakers, who could be going for their second straight title. I think that LeBron James is purely the true greatest player in the league, but he's not a leader. I don't care what anyone says, wherever he goes needs a leader at the head coaching position, then, and only then, do i believe that LeBron wins a championship. If that man is Tom Izzo, then so be it.
