CBI 3rd Post Season Tourney?

their goal is to get people not making the NCAA's to choose their tourney over the NIT... Haven't watched any of it, just know ODU was in it until they got beat by UVa.

Yep, they've made it hard NOT to make a post season tourney.
Unfortunately, the Bearcats went down early.
Has some weird rules though:
-Reseed "Final 4"
-Best of 3 Championship

and I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. No one in the CBI or NIT for that matter has any grand illusions that their championship is going to be just as important as the NCAA Tourney. Let 'em play, have fun and give their fans something to watch.

Houston definitely chose the CBI over the NIT. They would have been a 2 seed in the NIT most likely.

I dont know why we need another one. The NIT was already next to worthless. I'm surprised the NCAA would allow it since they own the NIT now.

I read about this a couple of weeks ago. Maybe next year Florida will be playing in that...
