This guy is a hard-a** but he also encourages the guys out there....no wonder they like him.

I wonder how many on here would be brave enough to admit that they are glad we lost to Missouri last year because it was the final nail in the coffin for Dools, thus ushering in the Butch Jones era that we are all enjoying so much. I'll go first - I'm glad we lost to Missouri.

I freaking love this guy!!! From what we're seeing here and what he's doing on the recruiting trail, I think great things are ahead for us. We're about to turn the tides in the SEC.

NEyegerian please.. I was openly against all thing's dewley in the end of his regime.. Not to be a Richard or anything but, he still had support of some vols even after the vandy debacle... Love me some butch bra! GBO. **** ALABAMMA!

I will never be glad that we lost a game..any game. That being said, I am glad as hell we don't have that BOZO as our coach anymore!! Butch couldn't have picked a better time to come in and take over. Whatever he does, he looks so much better compared to that clown we had last year. Butch is the man..Go Vols!!

I hated this argument last year and vehemently opposed the notion of wanting us to lose so that Dooley would be canned. If I knew then what I know noe, and the results were the same, I would have been praying for that loss. Hell, I'm glad vandy beat us to erase the hopes of a bowl and erase any even slightly possible chance of him being retained.

I think TN has found its coach. I don't expect 8-9 win season this year but I think if they are going to get this team they better do it this year.
I know this team has been got for the last 3 years but we had a complete idiot running the team.

I was very impressed with Sal Sunseri coaching/interview videos last off season too, probably more so than any other coaches in our entire coaching staff.

I'll reserve my judgement until I see some games.
