So, persmo tried to deter us :moon2:
Vandy troll, iyam.
(Just kidding persmo. I enjoy your posts...)
Listened to him on the EA show at 7:30. Talked about the volympics and the new NCAA rules about being able to contact recruits pretty much whenever you want. Also, Erik asked him about having 4 top QBs on the roster and surprisingly to me, he said, "we're one short, we like to have five QB on scholarship.
I'm sure he understands that they are not all going to stay. 1 or 2 of them will transfer when they see they are not going to be the guy. So he probably feels like he always needs a bunch of them.
maybe they'll get in a question or 2 in between 20 minute commercial breaks. I live in chatt and am no fan of these guys. doc is an old bitter man and cowboy joe is seriously mentally handicapped. he has a lot of difficulty putting sentences together. Plus, theyre not really even football fans. Joe always talks about fsu. News flash...if you grew up in Rhea County and root for some team 2000 miles away you have no ties to you are not a real fan. I think the only "sport" they are really fans of is nascar. woo hoo!
I live in Chattanooga too. I don't agree with your opinion on the guys themselves but I do agree with you on the ridiculously long commercial breaks! I leave work at 4:30 everyday and it's about a 15 minute commute home. If I am lucky I might catch ONE segment of actual talk radio between work and home and the rest of the time it's commercials! Oh and yes, they talk Nascar (and golf) way too damn much!

Yep. Even though it's an entertaining show, I've pretty much stopped listening altogether, due to the ridiculously long commercial breaks. Personally, I believe they either have IBS, or are chain smokers. They're definitely not spending their time at the microphones.
Well for me, ever since I discovered TSR (Tennesse Sports Radio) online, I haven't listened to 102.3 at all. I just fire up the TSR app at work and listen with headphones. Then I listen to it in the car on the way home. Fewer commercials, more talk about UT sports, etc.
