From interview with Kesling....

Worley could have played the 2nd half.

Dobbs over Ferguson was a coaches decision. Nothing said about an injury. Very pleased with how Dobbs played.

Peterson is still couple weeks away from playing.

It was inevitable that somebody's redshirt was coming off. Glad it happened in extended snaps.

what a presser. speaks volumes. His faceÂ… "I'm not used to this"Â…everything about it says he is in the right place. A bowl game is the goal, so lets just shut our mouths against the rest of the season and give them half a chanceÂ….not make fun of their MOMS like we did bama.

Yeah, most coaches aren't used to playing 7 teams in the top 20 per year. It's absolute madness

Me too. Think that under the circumstances and for his first appearance Dobbs played well. His passes seemed crisp, and the run he made gave Bama a moment of pause to account for it.

I just noticed this as ESPN just reported it. At the half, the score was 35-0. The final was 45-10. Therefore, the half of the game that Dobbs played, the score was 10-10. A misleading fact? Yes, since Bama played a number of reserves, but a statistical fact nevertheless.

Just hope that (now that his red shirt is back in the drawer) he stays healthy.

Dobbs did well for a Frosh. against the Alabama starters. The reserves for the Tide didn't see PT until late in the game.

it also means that the defense played better in the second half,Saban didn't take out his starting QB till late in the game either

There's zero doubt now that bUTch is the right guy, at the right place at the right time!

Now we all just need to totally support bUTch, all our coaches and players and let our coaches have more time without dumb fan distractions so they can keep recruiting better talent and get them coached up like they've already proven they can.

We simply don't have the playmaker talent that we must have on a 2 or 3 deep rotation...YET!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

A very telling stat was that Alabama had outscored it's opponents 186-24 in the first half this season. Pretty obvious they let off the gas once a blowout was certain. They will play in the NC and will likely win again.

If Drake doesn't fumble as he's going in for a TD and if the refs don't make a very questionable call against Cooper negating his long TD catch, our defense gives up 59 yesterday. Can't see past that to give them any credit for what they may have done in the 2nd half. Just can't.

Intimidation may be the word.
First play and ensuing drive. some of our youngsters seemed awe struck in the first half and it showed up in mistakes on D.
Played much better second half.

The defense gave up a 9 play, 98 yard scoring drive in under 4 minutes, followed by a 9 play 55 yard scoring drive, followed by a 12 yard 68 yard drive resulting in a field goal to start the second half. I don't think they "played better" until Bama eased off the gas.

I tend to agree
