His teams at CINCINNATI just won 10 games in back to back years. This just soaked in today with me for some reason. You have to admit thats pretty amazing considering the limited ability he had to recruit guys there. Also beat Charlie Strong two out of three unless i'm mistaken. I see no reason why we shouldn't be excited about the future at UT. 8 wins counting the bowl game is a realistic possibility for next year I think.

As much as the Big East gets trashed (and I'll admit I do some of the trashing), the best that conference has to offer just trashed Florida. Cincinnati has definitely had some good years under CBJ.

He played in the Big East against Big East teams. I wouldn't get too riled up thinking that's for sure a prelude to what he's going to do in the SEC. Different animals...

Maybe, but

- Northwestern beat MSU
- Clemson beat AU and LSU
- Louisville beat UF

Good coaching can do alot. And these coaches that lost weren't too shabby at what they do either.

People need to hamper their expectations for 2013. New QB, brand new offense, brutal schedule. I want to win asap also, but it won't happen next year.

I am taking the "wait and see" approach.

I remember when Kiffin arrived with all of his speeches. Fans were saying that "Urban Crier" was shaking in his boots about the new coach on the block.

We all liked the idea that he was a former NFL coach and that Oregon and Monte were NFL assistant coaches, etc. etc.

Then reality set in....

Yes, Jones is saying all of the right things on camera and on the radio, but let's see what happens in the games. Does he call a good game? Can we win the close games?

You high bro? Name out seven regular season wins? For us to get six, we have to upset Vandy.

You never know man the game is played on the field not on paper. There has to be an attitude and culture change here seriously. Have a little faith.

Not to mention the level of athletes that LSU, Auburn, and UF have compared to Clemson and Louisville....and MSU compared to Northwestern....well that is just a shame.

Coaching and the right system are super huge to make up for a lack of so called 4-5* superior players. That is what makes Stanford, Boise St., and Kansas St. so special imo.

Mental fortitude is HUGE. Believing you can win and believing you truly are tougher and stronger than your opponent is what these kids need. We have a solid group of athletes on this roster without a doubt. They have not been taught how to be winners...all they have been taught is how not to win. This is the one thing CBJ only knows how to do is win....so I think our current roster will buy in quickly. I don't think next season will be as bad as it could be...or as folks believe it will be.

CBJ also played Louisvile a closer game than UF did.

So instead of demanding a coach that can recruit 4 N 5 stars we r now settling for a coach n system that's built for 3 stars... n trying to rationalize with examples so we all feel good..

Cbj best win 8 games next year.. no freaking excuses about talent.. schedule or needing his players.. hart should not have hired someone thats going to take 3 years to see results..... if so harts head should be served on a platter because ut football will be dead in 3 years winning 6 games a year.. no one I mean no one will at the home game

:peace2:
