Idk if I'm being biased or what have you, but I think that Golden could have replaced Curry at 99.

Im impressed we have 4 considering none of them have played in a UK jersey before.

Don't see how unproven players who haven't even played a second of college ball can be put on this list. JMO.

Their description of Nerlens Noel does not sound like he should be a top 10 player. Comparing him to Davis is unfair imo. There won't be another shot blocker like Davis in at least a decade or two. Someone with a C+ offensive game and a B+ Defensive game should not be a top 5 player.

I fully expect Stokes to dominate Noel when we play UK.

Should be interesting.
Noel dominated in AAU but D1 is a whole different environment.
Stokes having a half season of the real thing under his belt could turn the screw.

I can't agree more. I really hope that we beat UK in Rupp this year.

Actually, I hope we're the only loss that Kentucky has at Rupp this year. Why? Because my girlfriend goes to UK and Kentucky hasn't lost at Rupp since she's been a student. Would love for to have a great story like that to bring up randomly.

And I still need leverage after last year's football and basketball schedule...

Read the descriptions of the other top 5 players and then read Noel's. Just not the same. The 5 people after him sound more impressive.

People who say he has a better defensive play than Davis are setting themselves up for disappointment. I will eat my words if I am wrong, but I just cannot see someone being as dynamic as Davis.

Does he have potential? Sure. But Davis has him beat in every facet of the game. Including the "Ugly" category.

I've said it since Noel committed.

UK fans saying he will be equal to Davis defensively are setting themselves up for dissapointment.

Definitely one of the best front courts in the country IMO.

How many teams have guys like maymon ad stones who are backed up by a guy who had a double double the previous year. Yemi and Kenny are no slouches for 3rd and 4th string.

The only two other front courts that I can think of that are up there are Louisville (Dieng/Behanan) and IU (Zeller/Watford). Louisville is slim in depth behind those two. IU has freshman behind their two. We have to take advantage of the inside.

NC State and UNLV will both have impressive frontcourts as well. Probably not better than Tennessee's, but right there with them.

Florida is another that will have some "star" power in Young and Murphy, but I think both players play soft at times.
