Is it anymore BS than Mothers Against Drunk Driving pushing legislation that says if a parent gets pulled over with .08 BAC or above, then their children should be taken into a foster family?

Remember, most women and some men can achieve .08 or above from just 2 glasses of wine, consumed within 1 hour.

"Driving while talking on a cell phone is as bad as or maybe worse than driving drunk," said Drews, who said alcohol was involved in 40 percent of the 42,000 annual U.S. traffic fatalities.

Just like many people who have been drinking, the cell phone users did not believe themselves to be affected, the researchers found.

They Probably should not be in restaurants either. Second hand cell waves you know...

I just wish the whole Neo-Puritan movement would die out. 100 years ago people smoked and drank during their lunch hours, and they were happy.

Unfortunately, some people want to push their morals on the rest of us and make us trade the joys in life for joyless years added to our lives.

While I think anyone caught talking, dialing, or communicating on a cell phone while behind the wheel should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, it's nowhere near as bad driving while intoxicated. That's just silly.

I agree, but what constitutes intoxication. It most states, the limit used to be .12 and now in all states it is at .08. I do not believe that drinking 2 glasses of wine with dinner constitutes intoxication, however, that will drive the BAC to above .08 in most people.
