Censorship At My Library?

The following link provides the story of what happened at my library here in Nicholasville, KY.

Whats your opinion? This has caused a big stink among the citizens of Nicholasville. Some agree with the two employees who were fired while others disagree with them.

I don't think they should have been fired. I think that the library should put age restrictions on certain books.

I've got 2 things:

1) I think it's inappropriate for children to be in the company of know-it-all busybody little old librarians. How does the library plan on handling my concerns?

2) Quote from the news source:

The Jessamine County Library director says it's against their policy to speak about employee terminations but he did give me a copy of their policy and it clearly states the responsibilities of the child's reading must lye with the parents and not with the library.

Honestly, it's like they aren't even trying anymore.
