I'll have to dig it up, but I actually read about a case where a guy who was caught doing that near some children and he ended up on a Sex Offender registry.

Speaking of houses on golf courses, has anyone else played Whittle Springs her in K-Town? I have hit more houses on hole #11 or #12, can't remember which, than I can count. I don't slice the ball at all until I get to that damn hole. Everytime I tee off it goes over the trees, over the road, and then I hear that wonderful thud of my ball hitting a house.

We had every member of a foursome hit a house with vinyl siding on marriott resort course in Lex one day, and the dumb owner came outside to see what was happening.

When he angrily questioned us, I, in a three sheets to the wind stupor said, "You should have built brick mother...." Not one of my proudest moments, but at least I have a story to tell.

I am sure that went over well. I also hate it when I clear the trees and hear the lovely ping sound that a golf ball hitting a car makes. That is when I swiftly hop into the golf cart and skip the rest of the hole.

Another reason, I built on a tee box.. The only tees that are behind my property line are the blacks, and if your playing from the tips, you shouldn't shank a shot

Been there done that......anybody and I do mean anybody that plays alot of golf and enjoys a cold 1 or 2 or 6 or 8 has been down this road.

brings me to my biggest pet peeve in all of golf. When scrubs who can shoot a 59 on Tiger Woods think they're great actual golfers and play from the blues or blacks. all they do is slow everyone else down because they don't even realistically belong on the white tees, yet we can't stop them from playing. There is no reason to play so far back if you can't break 100, much less 90 on a regular basis.

Agreed, I don't see many going back to the tips, but alot of the golfers are playing blues that have no reason too.

If there's a group on tips it's usually 2 or 3 of the guys from the pro shop that are playing either before or after work.

I play the tips out there. Makes it a decent track.
