President Neal Smatresk will announce the new Athletic Director today at a press conference. On December 6, FootballCoachScoop had
BREAKING NEWS and the FIRST TO REPORT that Jim Livengood (Former Arizona Athletic Director) would be the new Athletic Director for the University.
According to our sources, the contract is being finalized. Our source close to the situation tell us that Livengood will name Arizona Offensive Coordinator
Sonny Dykes as the new head coach.

I hope that's right. That site is not the most accurate when it comes to BREAKING NEWS. They repeatedly reported that Brian Kelly would NOT be the coach at Notre Dame and that it was going to be Jim Harbaugh or Randy Edsall to replace the Weis-enheimer.

I have visited many different sites looking for info on that, from what Ive read Louisville cant afford Lance and there are rumblings that Chaney is headed back to the NFL. Thats all internet speculation, so your guess is as good as mine. I will tell you that someone I trust told me the CEO is here as a short term guy and that once Monte retires, the DC job is Lance's.
