22 out of the 23 meetings have been won by the team that has had more rushing yards. I think that says it all.
The key figure in this game IMO will be turnovers. If we are able to create(or they give us i don't care) turnonvers, we will win this one.
I sure hope its this year though... Its been a long time

It has been a long time. I hope Florida has more turnovers than Pepperidge Farms.

I too really want to beat them this year! I have the misfortune of living here in fl. 60 miles south of the swamp. I am so tired of listening to all the obnoxious Gator fans talk smack. 1 win in 8 to9 years doesn't evn give any room for smack talking but at least it will shut them up
G.B.O.

The score is probably too high for UF. I'd say 24- 10 ish.. If UF scores that many, we probably helped them with a couple of turnovers. Yes their offense is that bad..

Unless we have a surprise at qb, this game will be decided by rushing yards as usual. Both qbs not impressive throwing the ball. I think muschamp will be very run heavy this game to limit turnovers.

For us we need to keep contain on the edges because they aren't moving McCullers at all. We need Neal, Lane, Hill, and maybe Smith to hit the wholes hard and not dance around. Also be ready for the Wild Cat because that was the 1 play that killed our spirits last year

I say load the box and make driskel beat us through the air. Even is he is completing passes, keep the box loaded. Hopefully he will make some mistakes. We have to shut down the run.

IMHO if coach Golden and the Miami Hurricanes can beat Florida There's no reason why coach Jones and the Volunteers can't. If the O line and backs challenge themselves to be mentally tough and run the ball, piling up 1st downs and yards even if there are zero turnovers it should be enough.

Other units on that field will be worse than the gator offense

Well i'd say if we can even slow down the run the score won't be in the 30's. We want Driskel throwing it from what i've seen.. That O is bad.. Our whole team is bad. So 24-10 is where i have it..

Florida's power run offense vs. Tennessee's depleted defensive line...

I imagine they'll hammer us up the middle with some mixed in up tempo stuff to keep our linemen on the field. The d-line has to bow up and get off the field and the offense has to keep the ball long enough for the defense to catch their breath.

I am sure this is Muschumps game plan, to the T (pun intended)

Shut down our running game and Worley will overthrow, underthrow, and have 4 picks against Fla defense.

I'm certain that is the Gator DC's game plan for the game. If Worley is the QB, the gator DC will tell his secondary players to stay about 1 step behind the Vol receiver and the ball will come right to them for the pick.

If we win this game, Muschamp probably should be fired by Monday.

I just want to see the meltdown if UT can pull this off.

In 2001, they were stunned but UT was very good.

In 2003, UF was so-so and UT had a Sr. QB, and UF had a Fr. QB... & Zook!
