CFP Quarterfinals Fiesta Bowl: #6 Penn State vs #3 Boise State (7:30 ESPN)

I want to think Boise St has a shot, but I don’t really know how to make that case since UNLV is the closest thing to a quality win on their schedule. Only thing to say is PSU and Boise had similar losses to the Ducks and Boise has a great running back.

Nothing makes this entire bracket and playoff more of a joke than Penn State getting a free pass to the semis with SMU and Boise St. while the two teams that beat them, Oregon and Ohio State, have to play tomorrow for one to move on.

The fact that the compliant national media goes along with this farce and treats UT's loss as evidence that the corrupt "committee" somehow got it right just shows how f***ked this entire system is at the moment.

I'd love to see BSt pull out a win but as good as Jeanty is the rest of the team should not (on paper anyway) be able to keep up with the talent and depth of PSt. I'd pack the box and dare Madsen to beat me.

As much as I want Boise to win, Penn State probably does just enough to get it done. Looking forward to the Ashton Jeanty vs Penn State’s defense matchup.

PSU is going to crush them. Is it just me or whenever there is a shot of the players, the PSU guys are like 5 five inches taller?

Noticed the same thing years ago with UGA and TCU.

I noticed that too. Seems to be a huge weight difference up front too.
I know Boise has played well in the Fiesta in years past, but they were playing less than highly motivated teams while they were pumped to be in a Big Six Bowl.

Tonight, a mid-major is playing a motivated Top Ten recruiting power.

Going to be ugly unless Penn State takes their foot off the gas.
