I remember before the 2007 championship game there was a LSU poster here & Chad Jones was his boy, anything Berry could do, Jones could do it better according to that guy. Jones was a real good player though and I hope he can get through this.

I remember that poster too. Wasn't Chad Jones also a baseball player? He is a great athlete. Hope he makes a full recovery.

EDIT: Just saw that he did play baseball. I seem to remember that poster bringing that up.

Doesn't sound good at all.

Per WWL-TV, Jones suffered a fractured leg, with "arteries and nerves exposed."

Sounds like his leg was nearly cut off....

Yeah, Byrd, he was cut in the Spring, I don't think he was able to fully recover, the Chargers gave him a shot which was pretty good of them. Chad's football career is over, you never know he could possible pitch in MLB depending how his leg recovers.

A little update, I doubt a team actually takes him on but he looks like he is about full speed. It's amazing what he can do after seeing the pictures.
