We are...
Marshall. Apparently, contacted Chad Pennington to put in good word for him.

TIFWIW but a Hokie insider said last week that it's all but a done deal that Bud Foster will be the next Marshall coach so I don't think we are in trouble here..........I just felt like venting earlier ^

And FSU has said it's all but a done deal that Foster would be their DC next season. So either could happen and neither could happen.

I tend to believe this insider because I just can't see Foster making that kind of lateral move within the ACC. But you never know.

Fulmer had Sexton put in a call.

He needs a backup plan in case the ND deal doesn't go down.

I thought that Krispy Kreme was his backup.....JK
Go VOLS!

That's where the buyout money is going.

He needs a second job to support his eating and Skeletor's shopping.

I think Chaney is likely unhappy with his arrangement as the OC. He is fully qualified to be in total control of the offense...not that I think CLK is doing a bad job calling plays, but it's hard to bring in a quality guy and give him a minimal role like that.
If we start winning next year and thereafter, someone will come after him, but it will likely be a lateral move for more money and more responsibility, IMHO.

Yeah I was wondering how long Chaney would sit back and not perform the main role of his job tittle. CLK needs loosen up the rains and let Chaney do what he was hired for. Chaney has been in the business for a long time now I'm sure he can handle a little play calling. CLK said he would call the play unless he got someone he could trust. Does he not trust Chaney? If he wanted to call all the plays he should get a greater recruiter than coach in that position. Anyone worth their salt will not stick around long if you don't let them do their jobs.
