Stupid idea. Keep it just like it is!

The BCS needs to do one thing! IT IS SOOOO SIMPLE!

11 D1 confrences. Take the winner of each Conf and put them in the playoff. You pick 5 At Large teams and now you have a 16 team field.

Keep some of the bowls for those "good" teams that don't make the playoff.

The playoffs will be seeded1-16 and the higest ranked team will play the game at Home until the Final Game. Have it rotate between New Orleans, Miami, LA, and Arizona every 4 yrs. There is you TRUE National Champion!

Off the top of my head..this year would have

Bama
Ga Tech
Cinnci
Oregon
Texas
Ohio State
TCU
Troy
Central Mich?? (MAC)
East Carolina
Boise St

UF
LSU
Iowa
Penn State
Oklahoma State maybe

Not a bad field. Let the BEST TEAM win!

So they are going to try to "fix" the thing that works and ignore the thing that doesn't?

The NCAA already sounds like the government.

I do not hate the idea of adding 4 at large teams by dropping down some more teams, but then you would have just 4 more teams wanting to get in.

At this point if you are deserving of playing for the national title and you scheduled intelligently, you do not miss the basketball tournament.

Plus one would have worked perfectly this year. 1 Bama v. 4. Cincy 2. Texas v. 3. TCU

4 undefeateds, TCU>Boise's regular season. No arguments.

I don't even want a big playoff, keeps the regular season special. 4 teams.

I agree that the tourney should stay as is. 65 is enough. And, if it moves to ESPN, I hope "One Shining Moment" goes with it. That song is part of the game. I do think ESPN would do a better job with the tourney. CBS does a nice job, but ABC/ESPN offer more sports networks and a better production. With ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU, they could show every game live.

Are you advocating a 4 team tournament? The Bubble is going to be small and some good teams will be snubbed.

I will be seriously pissed off if ESPN steals another sporting event from free television. If they get it then it had better be all over ABC. I get all of the ESPN channels, but I think that their coverage sucks compared to CBS when you count production quality. I'll go ahead and leave WVLT's horrible macroblocking out of this.

If they'll give us more choices about main games we're seeing, I'm OK with it.

Just don't give us Jimmy Dykes, and I like the man as a person.

Expanding the tournament to include 96 teams would be a joke. Like I want to see the 3rd place team from the MEAC take on North Carolina and get crushed 130-45.

The tournament is almost perfect the way it is now. The only thing that needs to be done to it is to take away that damned play-in game.

Keep the g^% d&*& government out of this period! Anytime they try to fix something it becomes a disaster. They will find some way to tax it. You just wait, an attendance tax, tv tax, game score tax, or games won tax. They will tax the top 5, 10 or 15 teams because it's not fair that they should be in the tourney or that they won so many games.as if none of these won't happen just wait.
