What do yall think if the SEC would drop Vandy and add Memphis.

Perhaps Louisville and KY would switch as well.

Geographically it would make sense, and it would help a lot with basketball.

However, there goes our GPA for the conference.

Just a thought.

We just discussed this not very long ago on here. I say keep Vany because they're one of the original members. I'd also keep UK because of tradition (basketball) and I honestly think once they finaly get rid of Brooks they can become a solid team again. If we ever add anyone I'd like to see it be Georgia Tech.

How about dropping UK and Vandy and adding Valdosta and Hoover highschools?

No changes are needed. It would not help to drop the weaklings and add more powerful programs.

And besides, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State both have decent basketball programs. Definitely can't get rid of UK for basketball purposes... although it wouldn't bother me if their basketball team were to disband.

Yeah that is ture, I was just thinking how in 2-3 years memphis is going to grow out of the CUSA, I would just like another tennessee school to be a major player

SEC is good as is.

As you stated, Vanderbilt probably contributes a large part to holding up the conference's academic standards. Keep Kentucky around for the basketball.

Yeah, you guys got 4 of the worst football teams in the BCS conferences. But still 'speck for the top half of the SEC.

You think we could get Cal to come in and play in the west?

I'd love seeing them every few years.

LOL
