I have received a racially divisive email from multiple sources over the past couple of days regarding the murders. It generally decrys the lack of media coverage and public attention, mostly blaming the fact that the victims were white and the suspected perps are all black. How is this story playing out in Knox area? Is it being viewed as a hate crime, or racial issue? Quite frankly, it is not getting any attention so far as I can tell in Nashville. I had no idea of the extent of the tourtures that were suffered by the victims until I read the email.
