I absolutely believe Strong is gone. The BMDs never were that enthusiastic about him in the first place. So if they could minimize their payout I think the BMD would love that. Hey if it's your money and you don't like how it's being spent then do what you can to minimize the bleeding! That's my thoughts anyway.

UT could quite possibly be struggling with a) firing a coach and b) worried about NCAA sanctions if we had hired Strong.

I'M SO GLAD HE CHOSE US AS UNWORTHY. :p

Love it. Was in Austin two weeks before the season started and man oh man.......every radio guy I heard was totally clueless. Pretty sure they claimed two national titles in the week I was there.

Texas boosters probably turned him in..don't like Strong for lying to us...but I've always thought he played by the rules.

Nothing to see here, and if there was, the NCAA won't/can't do anything significant to Texas or Strong anyway.

They are having trouble tracking Charlie down to fire him. The AD is calling all the booster wives to see if they can locate him.
