I'm making my yearly trip to tour the shops of Nascar this week. My current itinerary looks something like:

Monday: RCR Museum/Vineyards/Shop, SHR, DEI, the Curb Museum, KHI and SHR.
Tuesday: Hendrick, JR Motorsports, Earnhardt-Ganassi, RFR, Penske, Gibbs, Petty and the Wood Brothers.
Wednesday: Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Winston Cup Museum
Thursday: Nascar Hall of Fame

I've made most of these stops before, but it's always fun watching the crews work on stuff I get to actually watch on television. I'll take pictures if anyone has requests.

I'll give a Monday update. I made visits to RFR, JGR, Kasey Kahne's shop, JR Motorsports, Penske Racing, KBM, DEI and Rick Hendrick. Kerry Earnhardt was cool enough to actually talk for about 30 minutes. It's usual for a driver to take a few minutes of his time, but Kerry went out of his way to make me and the people I were with feel at home.

I got a chance to talk to Joey Coulter earlier. He feels like the Kyle Busch incident will hopefully impact him in a positive way in a hunt for sponsorship. He also says he learned some things in the closing laps at Kentucky last week.

Take some good pictures of the Hall of Honors at the HOF if you can. I went there when they had the five first inductees items but I haven't seen the changes they made for the most recent group. Thanks!
