Yeah - same thing here in northeast TN. It's been slower than dial-up since I got home from work. Six-plus hours later, nothing's changed and I can't get a hold of an actual person on the phone.

My sister is basically forced to use Charter. I've determined they suck beyond belief and their equipment is faulty.

It is most of TN and parts of several other states. Supposedly cut fiber line so it will be a while.

Welcome to 14.4 modem speed.

Problem is somewhere between Jackson, TN and Leeds, AL. I troubleshot my mom's Charter last night, and that's where her packet loss was the worst.

Ok so I'm not the only one having problems. The weird thing is my kids xbox controllers stopped connecting at the same time. Could that be somehow connected to this?

That sounds like a coincidence IMO. Not sure how the connectivity of your controllers could be affected at all by your internet. That or aliens are above your home :)

Yep I'm in sevierville and mine was crawling last night. Figured it was my crappy router.

Supposedly the massive solar storm that's going on is causing havoc on the Internet and all sorts of electrical things.

For a while my modem and router were on the stand with the xbox and they were causing some issues so I moved them.

Your router shouldnt be causing any issues with your Xbox controller. Xbox controller uses RF for connectivity and the router does not. What type of router are you using? GHz?
