I seriously doubt that the SOCON gets three teams in this year. I just don't see it happening.

Although, they did expand the field this year...so who knows.

anybody hear wes rucker's comments about coleman? something about 1/2 the team wanted him to stay at UT and be the qb?

Georgia Southerns defense looked awful yesterday. I was surprised UTC didn't put up another TD or two. Good win for the Mocs though, they seem to be turning things around.


I thought they got hit with sanctions that prevented a play off spot?

Nope. They are playoff eligible.

yeah only 35 points. Terrible. They soo should have scored 70. Whatever. And where did you hear that the mocs cant compete in the postseason. That was never the case.

You may be thinking of last season. APR scores had them ineligible, not that it mattered last season.

I saw one that had the Mocs at #20. I usually go by the Sports Network poll for media, which hasn't come out yet....that I know of, at least.

I think the Coaches poll comes out in the morning, which by all reports UTC could be anywhere from 25-20.

Mocs ranked 24th in the media poll that matters...Sports Network.

Elon and Ga Southern fall out....Furman in at 25....Wofford at #9....Appy St. still occupies the top spot.

Its really laughable to be honest. Chattanooga lost to the number 1 and 3 teams by a combined 5 points. They are barely in the top 25 behind tons of 2 and 3 loss teams.

A lot of that is reputation. They have been awful for the better part of 25 years. Voters are reluctant to put them in there.
