Chavis comments today?

I was listening to a sports talk show today and they were interviewing Chavis. They were talking about the saftey position. We all know how many problems we have had there this year. Well Chavis said that it was so bad they posted the position so that anyone in the University who thought they could help was welcome to come and tryout. Now, I am sure he was kidding but man that was a slam on those guys who have played back there this year.

I think it says a lot about the DB coach and the whole defenses approach to tackling. We have been poor tacklers for some time in my opinion. The object is to wrap them up and bring them down to the ground. Fortunately, Heffney knows how... maybe we should send all of our guys to Hargrave to learn how to tackle.

maybe we should hire someone from Hargrave as our secondary coach to replace Slade.

I can't really blame Slade. We are pretty young and I think Campbell has been a real disappointment.

His next request should be for an Offensive Co-Ordinator because if we do not get one that makes his job easier he's going to hit the door! Hold's a pitiful ND squad to TWO first downs in the second half and 10 points and his boys take an "L." I think the Sigma Chi offense could get 3 against that bunch in the 2nd half.( pitt got 38&#33
