this is because the same people who fall for the fairy tale of obama believe in this fairy tale that che guevara was anything but a sociopath.

most of the people who worship this guy know nothing about him.

This was discussed briefly in the Obama favors drivers' licenses thread.

I saw funny comment on the Democratic Underground about this - basically the gist was that kids in sweatshops in China are making the Che T-shirts that young American kids where to express their view...

How did this guy even get into politics and which side does he really play for?

Exactly. The people teaching our kids, especially in colleges and universities around this nation, have brain-washed them with so many non-truths and ideologies that they can't even think for themselves.

We're going to have an entire generation of sheep, and that is truly sad. They watch so much TV and they don't even realize they're being led where the talking heads want you to go.

I'd like to thank some of our fellow posters for providing me some quality comedy relief this morning. Keep 'em coming, guys.

Sorry to come so far out of left field on this, but why did LaPaz in Knoxville think it was a good idea to change their name to Chez Guevara? I never got that move. (The food was still good)

Some people just don't get it. Let's see, a capitalistic institution themed around a man who was a supreme and violent socialist who hated capitalism. Classic.

I just dont understand why people flock to Obama and Clinton..i understand that people construe that Bushy fudged a couple of things up but cmon...Theyre ideas just seem to want everyone the same....equal and mediocre....this country was founded on individualism..thats why we are like we are...the common good is just something that the majority of us dont buy into..i think...but thats just me...

I might be wrong but I wouldn't say the Hispanic community holds Che in high regard -- especially those in South Florida...

I can believe the Hispanic population of south Florida would not hold Che in high regard being that most are expat Cubans. West of the Mississippi is another story. Mexicans for some reason have picked up on him and the Venezualians, Bolivians, or lets say the whole north, of south America, holds that guy as second only to the Virgin Mary.
