I would interview 3 and here are the reasons why.

1. ND Assistant coach Ivey. Great developer of
Guards. Great recruiter. Would really hurt ND.
BEEN TO TOP AND KNOES WHAT IT TAKES.
Could convince Westbrook to stay. No buyout.

2. Kellie Jolly/Harper, now at Missouri State. Would
want her to explain why she failed at NC State.
Tough spot to coach at but Wes Moore has done
well with same level of players. Has she figured
out why she failed? Missouri State work may
over ride and show she has learned from past.
Cheap buyout.

3. Who ever the top offensive mind in women's play for past five years. I am so tired of what we
have had the past few years. Today's game,
with 3 point shot, has evolved plus scoring
is more fun to watch.

If we try to go cheap, we will lose $$$ in the long run by buying them out. Just find a winner and go for them

We probably can't afford her, but I would love to see Kim Mulkey as the LV head coach.
Proven winner, recruiter, and talent developer.

Only WBB plsyer to win NCs as player, assisatnt coach, and head coach.

2 Nattys at Baylor.

Has the same kind of fundamentals development and in-game presence as Pat Summit.

No thanks. We need the cream of the crop!
Tennessee needs to get back to the powerhouse it is.
Shouldnt be no limit financially for women’s basketball.

EVERY new hire our athletic department makes is cheap, and they also think it's smart. We always cheap out on the front end and end up paying Saban money on the back end.

Y'all are going to be proved wrong when Jeff Walz winds up being the next Tennessee women's head basketball coach;)

Well then he should know what he is doing.
When Moore left UTC, we went and hired Jim foster and didn’t miss a beat. Now that he’s gone it’s a different story. I dont think age has as much to do with it as some people play into it. But we do want someone who could potentially be here a long time before considering retirement.

Have you ever seen her on the floor literally whining or crying? Some of these coaches have won big because they had the biggest giant, she had Griner. Her floor drama queen antics drive me nuts.

This is no time to go cheap go ahead and hire Jeff Walz!
I agree 100% Have we not learned what cheap coaches does to our program. Sets us back 4 or 5 years and then takes a good coach a few years to fix it. (we all see what kind of mess Pruitt has to fix) Hire Jeff Walz and lets get back to winning games.

I think Fulmer is erasing the cheap mentality because the money is rolling in and he wants to make every sport a winner. That era of Hamilton and his successors is over we have an AD that gets it and expect a coach that can get it done in women's basketball to be hired.
