Checker Neyland game official vs. Texas A&M

Hopefully there won’t be a lot of Aggie Maroon and those tan Military uniforms in the stands to RUIN our checkering.
Does anybody know how many tickets we gave to TAMU to sell?

Not sure but based off ticket prices our own want to go to a game... we wont be keeping any visitor out that want to pay crazy amounts

Hey, I have an idea; I know not for this game because we're wearing orange and white, but for a night game when we're going dark mode, how about checkering Neyland with orange and black? That might look pretty cool. Am I wrong?

Or did we already do that and I was unconcsious?

I asked this last year including black and Orange end zones and was roundly rebuffed here by traditionalists.

We still owe them one for 2016. We went down 28-7 came back and took it to double OT. Kamara went nuts. I thought there was no way we were gonna lose after coming back. We had ALL the momentum. Stupid Trevor Knight

Per SEC rules, I believe our opponents get 9,500 tickets. Any not sold by a certain date are returned to the host school, which is why there were only single game tickets available for Vandy. SC, A&M, & GA sold their entire allotment.

I've mentioned before but I'd like to see shakers of corresponding color (white or orange) placed in every seat.

A sea of checkered shakers would be very cool.

For many years, UT has put shakers in all the student section seats. We used to stock up on shakers during the years when the student section wasn't full. Now it looks like they only put shakers on the student seats that are on TV.

The new Tennessee tradition started in 2014 via a fan-driven effort to checker the stadium. The Vols pulled if off for the first time on October 4, 2014 in a 10-9 loss to Florida.
