AJ Pierzynski has always been a pompous, arrogant guy. Nice to see someone finally punch him in the face. Michael Barrett is my hero for the day.

it was kinda random, but yeah.. it was a pretty nice punch

the collision at the plate wasn't bad, just baseball... but when he slapped the plate after, that wasn't really needed

It was a heat of the moment type thing, and I think Barrett misunderstood what was happening, but still he was clearly in the wrong.

No, I think Barrett was in the right. Why? He punched Pierzynski. In fact, Pierzynski deserves it simply for making me use google to figure out how to spell his stupid name.

and the fact that He may be a bigger a$$ then Barry bonds. If the players took a vote on who they would like to punch in the face the most, barry bonds and AJ would be in a dead-lock.

Notice AJ didn't have much to do with that fight afterwards... funny how the biggest jerks usually don't react to getting punched in the head. :lol:

...but of course that didn't stop him from hamming it up on his way to the clubhouse. Seemingly celebrating the fact he got punk'd and did nothing about it.
