Headed to Chi-town 2nd week of August with my bride to celebrate our 22 years. Looking for good eats, notable places to visit, etc.

Assuming you're near Miracle MIle on Michigan Ave., I really like Hugo's Frog Bar and Seafood.

My absolute favorite in that area was the Cape Cod Room at the Drake, which I believe closed a couple of years ago. Old school glorious. Not that it helps answer your question.

Lincoln Park neighbored is fun with lots of restaurants and bars.

The museum of Natural History is awesome and next to Soldier Field. Grant Park is nearby as well.

If you are into architecture, they have Frank Lloyd Wright tours.

If you think you can sneak to the top floor of the Sears tower, you can’t.

To piggy back on the Frank Lloyd Wright stuff the Robie House in Chicago and it's one of his most famous. Probably only after Falling Water. Warning, if you re clastrogophobic I wouldn't go in any of his houses. They are small. Ceilings are typically at 7' and in many places are lower. May not be worth paying the tour fee if architecture isnt your thing. But worth some photos.

He did a church as well, Unity Temple. Pretty nice and a little more worth a tour

I had about 5 hours on Michigan Ave. when I was on a work trip. Other than pizza anywhere, I'd say make sure to grab a bag or tin of Garrett popcorn.

Like darts at all? Go to a place called Flight Club. Actually, go if you don't like darts. It's like Top Golf for darts and is right in The Loop. Also the architecture tour by boat is a must do, especially if the weather is good. Last time I was there I ate at RPM Italian and it was very good, then go to Three Dots and a Dash or Untitled afterward.
