To be fair, Miami and FSU were in better places than UF headed into 2018.

No one saw the Taggart disaster coming, or Richt underachieving to this scale.

They’re gonna win 10 games in Mullen’s first year (only won 4 games last year) after beating the hell out of the #7 team in the country.....they’re back.

SC certainly sucked it up but it seems the Big 10 people are the ones that are weird about it. They were going nuts after going like 7-1 or 8-1 in bowls last year even though they were favored in all but 2.

My point is, had he been looking at a Bowden and a Jimmy Johnson types in those jobs that has to factor into the decision. It was a no brainer on many levels.

Give me a break... you were much better in 2012 (although you gave an uninspired performance vs Louisville). This was a good season for Mullen. Nice wins over LSU and Miss State. However, there is nothing special about the class he signed in the early signing period (basically, on par with Tennessee) and we're all looking up at Georgia right now in the East.

the season's achievement was better in 2012. more impressive wins that season.

However, the all around play in all facets of the game is much better in 2018.

I would say the 2012 team was legitimately a good team with a poor offense. The 2015 and 2016 teams are nowhere near as good as this 2018 team. Not even close.

That said, it was a perfect storm of hot garbage in Tallahassee and Coral Gables for us.
