CHIEF - Eric Church

Been out for over a week. Thoughts? I'm sure since it's Billboard's #1 album, some "real" country fans will start throwing Church under the bus.

Overall, I like the album. Seems pretty progressive musically but true to his roots, nonetheless. Don't like it as good as 'Sinners' but that record was just as good as it gets for me.

I've listened to it all the way through only once, but none of the songs stood out to me like the songs on Sinners Like Me. That album will be impossible to top.

Homeboy is the worst song he has ever released, sounds like the same garbage Jason Aldean poops out month after month.

Eric Church is the best young country act going right now, but the entire modern country genre has gone to sh*t.

Homeboy isn't my favorite Church tune by a long shot but I actually think it's got some substance. Who else is calling out the country ghetto culture? Someone needed to.

Saw him live at a bar in Myrtle Beach pre-Sinners and it was one of the best concerts I've been to, dude knows what he's doing.

Guess im a groupie lol. Been to 22 concerts and met him 4 times. Just by meet and greet passes so no real conversations. Great album. Sinners like me album was hard to beat but I liked carolina a little more. I like what hes doin with his own little style. Glad to see there are other fans of him on here and not say he sings pop rock garbage.
