I think that if you are a school looking for a new coach, you would be crazy not to at least put out a feeler.

Coaches are awesome. Kelly wins all around with this. Teams that haven't gauged his interest think he is hinting at "CALL ME MAYBE"! And if he is loved where he is they can renogiate.

One thing not being mentioned is that Chip Kelly was given an 18 month show cause penalty in 2013 over the Willie Lyles/Lache Seastrunk scandal after he had already left Oregon. It has expired but I really don't think that USC and Pat Haden can take a chance on hiring him given their recent troubles with the NCAA. South Carolina might be a possibility but would that interest him? I doubt it.

Can't win the big one, would rather have a tough, defensive minded coach. He's not exactly charming, he just can't tell the media to buzz off...they'd bury him.

Plus, he had a show cause...we don't need that.

USC has a great tradition of dominating defenses. We need to get back to that.

I have a feeling philly will be just fine the second half of the season. They are just a few missed field goals away from being a top team. Bradford is looking better every week. I think they'll make the playoffs, seeing as the Owboys aren't looking too hot this year.
