Some may have seen this, some may not care... But I love that Oregon's coach is willing to smack talk with Kiffin. I hope the Trojans get their butts kicked on Saturday.

Bud Withers | Oregon, USC will take their dispute to the field on Saturday | Seattle Times Newspaper

"In their two-deep, out of 44 players, they have 12 five-star recruits and 26 four-star recruits," Kelly told The Oregonian. "I don't know if there is anybody in the country who has that.

"I keep hearing USC is down in talent. We have zero five-star recruits in our top 44 and 11 four-star recruits."

You don't have to be Oliver Stone to extrapolate a conclusion: "We're coaching the snot out of our kids, and they're the biggest underachievers since the 2010 Cowboys."

Another thing you can take from this is... As Kelly said, they have zero 5 star guys and only a handful of 4 stars.... With the right coaching, even a team that is lacking in talent can be successful.

i'm thinking he is sending a message to his team that they shouldn't overlook usc. and yes a team lacking in talent can be successful, but no team lacking in high recruiting rankings has won the NC since colorado in what 1992? and the only bcs runner up in that category is vtech and vick was pretty damn good.

It's one thing to be successful. It's another thing to win championships.

Tide won in 1992. I think Colorado split with someone in 1990. (No idea what recruiting rankings for those teams were at that time)

Tampa 2 is tailor-made for Oregon type offense. just watch some of UT game last year and the Hawaii game. :)

Colorado won the AP National Championship in 1990, Georgia Tech won the Coaches' Poll National Title.

Kiffin actually had a really good comeback and a D-Tackle for USC said with the exception of a great running back and good qb, Oregon isn't very good.

Should be an exciting game.

Chip Kelly is a good coach, but a huge douche in my opinion.

Or the Florida game last year where they ran up the score on us. Or the bama game where our Defense was terrible.

Kiffin is a horrible d coordinator. As evidenced by our defense playing a lot better since he left.

This is shocking to me. I guess I don't get out of my SEC shell very much. If what Kelly says is true then what excuses is Kiffin and his band of merry men making for the type of season they are having?

yes and Bama runs same type of offense as Oregon.
watch some of last year's UT games against spread teams. Auburn, Ohio, Ole Miss, etc. and watch USC's game against Hawaii and other teams this year. Tampa 2 baby!
