I think it would be a natural and outstanding fit myself. The talent there is built for a ck team. Speed, speed, snd more speed. I have been defending the obc all year thinking he is just playing head games, but that last monday presser...I mean wow that was bad. Dooleyism's everywhere. I think Chip Kelly will end up at Texas. I know it's a longshot, but I just get the feeling that Strong is gone after this season. Kelly is not Mr. Personality either, but would win big at Texas.

Kelly at South Carolina would be bad news, but I just don't see it. They are a tier 3, likely tier 4 program. Kelly could easily have the Texas or even USC jobs if he wanted them. I think a lot of ADs would fire coaches who aren't technically on the hot seat but don't seem promising in the longterm to take a chance on Kelly.

Exactly. He's not leaving the NFL for South Carolina. Texas or USC or nothing, IMO. He'll sit out a year if he gets fired in Philly and wait for the right job to open up.

Curious to see if Chip Kelley were hired at USC (Cali), how many of those Oregon Os would suddenly disappear or suddenly turn into Trojan decals. Also, a part of me would love to see Chip Kelley beat Oregon. It would amuse me.

I doubt the whorns would make another play for Briles after he snubbed them and poked his finger in their eyes the last go around. They'll go after the usual suspects ( Saban, Gruden and Kelley) before they go after Morris or the coach at Houston IMO. Who knows, Saban might be ready to make the move this time.
