That was Tigerish.:rock:I think what Tiger did was fail at being spectacular which has become the norm for him, so it seemed like he was playing worse than he actually was. As much as he struggled, he still posted a number that was better than 85% of the field on Sunday and passed 5 of the 6 guys that he needed to get by in order to win.
If you had paid attention, you might have noticed that he had the worst week of reading greens of his professional life. The pace of his putts was a bit off, but it really didn't matter with the way he was reading greens.I just have not seen Tiger miss that many close putts in a while,a long while, especially in a major.Snedeker looked to bust out at anytime, but the old boogy man was in his way,was he that good at Vandy?Immelman absolutly looked great he looked like he had never heard the word Tiger.
I watched the whole thing,Papa you have not played with me,and don't know anything about my golf knowledge,You pay attention to yourself and what you say to others, papa don't preach to me just make a comment,I have a 6 handicap sir, thank you.:good!:If you had paid attention, you might have noticed that he had the worst week of reading greens of his professional life. I am shocked that a 6 handicapper would call any of that a choke on the part of Tiger. I was rooting against him because I had the field and he, fortunately did not play to his normal otherworldly standard, saying he choked is just absurd.I watched the whole thing,Papa you have not played with me,and don't know anything about my golf knowledge,You pay attention to yourself and what you say to others, papa don't preach to me just make a comment,I have a 6 handicap sir, thank you.:good!:
Just getting opinions my friend, several of us watched it and we all felt he missed putts at the most inopertune times, not like him at a major,I understand people have bad days, but he just don't usually miss that much that close.Like the MPS tigers.I am shocked that a 6 handicapper would call any of that a choke on the part of Tiger. To my knowledge, he missed two relatively short putts on Sunday and hit an atrocious approach into 17. Other than that, I'm not sure where he might have choked. He putted poorly all week, Sunday was clearly just part of the trend.
I don't think that was a choke as much as a very tough shot to a tiny landing area. That was a very long approach due to a quasi popped up stinger 3 wood. He was going in there from about 215 and you have to stay right of that pin. He tried to draw it in there, but couldn't do it off that downhill lie.he hit the sand on 10 as well on his approach.
what is this? How about that new tracking of the ball, off the club. That is a cool new addition. It's hard to see their actual ball flight.Neat.You think they should do that more than they did? I really liked to see the flight of the shot.I knew they drew the ball alot but, you could really see the shot making or the shaping of the shot.
Very true!I played The Tour 18 in Houston TX, and they have amen corner there. I am very lucky to come out 1 under on that classic 3 holes. That's two times through it.The greens are just like the Masters, same size and everything.:thumbsup:I don't think anybody makes everything from 4-10 feet at Augusta. The greens are too tough; especially with the wind blowing.
I'm betting that the firmness and speed are radically different.Very true!I played The Tour 18 in Houston TX, and they have amen corner there.
