i would think the PT has to come in to play at some point...ND is loading up on a lot of young talent, and if we were to come in and finish at 9 wins or better, i would think that we probably have a little bit more opportunity for him to play earlier...pure speculation, not sure how deep ND is at his position or what position he will ultimately wind up at in college, but i'd have to think that unless we just suck out loud again, that we still have a good shot at him.

ND moved their running back (Travis Thomas) to linebacker two or three weeks ago, theylost their whole LB core last year

ah, well that definitely makes it more interesting now doesn't it...we'll see...we too are pretty young at LB, and we've all heard about the lack of depth....he could be very valuable, obviously.

It's an embarassment that he has not already committed. Take last season out of the equation and does anyone think he's really considering ND? Heck no!

it would be embarassing if he was considering UT and Vandy. Considering UT and ND, while not desireable, you also can't blame the kid. ND obviously looks like their on the way up and i can understand wanting to be a part of that, especially when they are asking you to come play for them.

If I was a recruit I would look at ND and a few others also.

It is embarassing in either case. By his own statements CD is a lifelong UT fan and if UT were "on the way up", or already up, I doubt that he would have hessitated to accept UT's offer right out of the gate.

I don't blame CD at all. I blame CPF for the abomination that was 2005 and I'll blame him for losing CD if that happens. You should know that by now. :cheer:

Pretty much everyone wants to be recruited by ND and take that visit... even those who have no intention of playing there.

Exactly good to see some people have some common sense on here. A lot of people on rivals and scout were saying why hasn't he committed already if he "bleeds orange" and saying well he must not be that big of a fan if he hasn't already committed. He's just taking the same route as a lot of big time recruits will take with us this year. They want to see if 05 was a blip or a trend. Nobody wants to come to a school where there are questions if the head coach is gonna be around much longer. I say a 9-3 season some big wins mixed in (gotta beat Georgia or Florida) and we will see a lot of these big time players committing to the big orange.

he will be with UT. Only a matter of time, i believe he is holding out for more media attention. UT is recruiting him really hard, and he is from TN. I believe a nice official visit, i bet if he came to the CAL game and we performed well he would choose UT. UT's stadium at night is an awesome college football atmosphere. Can't wait Sept.2 CAL gets worked by TENNESSEE, which will open up our recruiting alot more. We will get respect for beating a high ranked opponent. This game i believe is crucial for a successful season, from our confidence and swagger standpoint. GET EM VOLS
