Chris Singleton, Phillip Jurick, and Elliot Williams. Said he thinks we'll probably get all three, but if not, at least 2 of the 3.

That is great news. I knew we led for Jurick and Singleton, but didn't know if we led for Williams. Landing all three of those would be HUGE.

Not counting the taller Prince, we will have 6 guards on this year's team, and 3 will graduate. So, landing Williams or another guard is crucial.

It does appear that over the next year, Pearl is going to take a roster that has been extremely backcourt heavy and trade it in to be frontcourt heavy. I bet we start pressing less and less if that's what happens.

I don't think it looks that way at all.

We look to be getting longer, bouncier, and more athletic. Guys like Cam Tatum, Tyler Smith, Ramar Smith, Wayne Chism, (and hopefully Chris Singleton, and Elliot Williams) all have the ability to run the floor, create tough matchup problems, and have the range to cover a lot of floor on defense...I think with these types of players, you'll finally see Pearl's press unleashed to it's fullest potential.

Pearl is about to have all the horses to really run his system...look out, but after Chris leaves will we have anyone that can fill it up? We need that guy that can produce when you have to have it.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cam Tatum fills that role. He's a stud.

Ramar is getting there already.

I agree Greg, I think Tatum will thrive in Pearl's system as early as next year because he can run and drill the three all the way out to NBA range......

I hope Pearl has a backup plan in case he doesn't get E. Williams, because the only returning guards for 2008-09 will be R. Smith, Tatum, and Tabb. As for calling Prince a tall guard, I'll believe it when I see it, because people on here have speculated to opposite extremes as to what he can contribute. Even with Williams, that leaves us with 4. Next season, we will have 6 guards. I definitely think we should have at least 5, but I'm not a coach.

Higher standards that include not getting kicked off your H.S. team, H.S., or whatever it was that he got suspended from/kicked off of.
