CHW said the doctors didn't want Massengale to practice today and seemed to not know if she would tomorrow either,all she said was a facial injury as to what happened and she talks about the zone

I like the plan going forward hope they can execute it. Andraya is gonna do some great things as a Lady Vol before she leaves here. I really like her ability at point guard and she has really bought in to being prepared for each game you can tell from her interviews.

i wonder if Massenagle will play or not,i haven't looked to see if they have put anything out about it today,I almost hate to say it,but they played a great game with out Massengale against the Aggies

My guess would be if she plays it would be limited. She didn't practice Tuesday hard to get it all in one day and especially after being out for over a week. If she plays it will be a limited role JMO.

from what CHW was saying,they would go with what the doctors say about her playing,hopefully they play it safe and let her sit out another game over what the docs say

i am still wondering what a facial injury was,she got flat out decked,the refs did let the Aggies get away with some serious hits,shouldn't a shot to the head be a flagrant foul ?

It was my understanding that any shot to the face is a flagrant foul intentional or unintentional. The Refs just didn't call it. I remember when Alex Fuller got punched in the face they didn't call that either. I guess if you play for Tennessee Refs don't call them.

i know that the refs miss a lot of calls on both sides of the ball,but that was a mugging

If they didn't see it, they can't call it. I see more use of video playback in the future. It's helped other sports and could help BB too. But there's the concern of slowing the game, which is a problem.

did you see it convoluted ? she got decked ,it is strange that there worried about that,with all the hand check fouls being called,you can knock somebody to the court,but you can't touch em with your hand

If the ref responsible for that portion of the action didn't see it, they should never, ever ref another game.

Referees are placed in a position where no matter what they do they will never make anyone happy, and more often than not end up as the scapegoat when one team isnÂ’t playing well.:p
