The Big East is absolutely horrible from top to bottom this year. I really don't think they deserve to have 1 team in the T25. NC State will take this.

NC State owned the entire game. Cinci got a couple TD's late to make it look kind of close. But once it was 30-7 the game was never in question.

Southern Miss was dominated by South Carolina. If they make it respectable against Tuner Gil it will be another in the long series of common opponent evidence that the SEC is the best.

I think Kelly is good, but didn't they lose quite a few seniors? I could be wrong about that.

I'm not sure which impact players they lost or whatever, but you're right. The drop off seems pretty quick.

I think losing Gillyard hurts more. I feel like Pike just threw the ball high and expected Gillyard or someone else to come up with it. IIRC, he threw a few interceptions against Pitt because he was just throwing some jump balls up there.
