Just saw where he was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Could CBJ try and recruit him here since he, if I'm not mistaken, could transfer here without sitting out a year? Sure he might not have SEC type talent but it couldn't hurt to have a guy who has played three years in Butch Jones system and started a few games this past year right?

I was just watching cincy games, Kay would get beat out by our back ups. He's not too good.

I'm not expecting the guy to come in and be lights out but I think it would be good for the other QBs to have a guy who has played in the system before on the sideline with them.

It'd be a complete waste of scholarship, as we might have collaros as a ga.

I've saw that mentioned before but wasn't sure if it was official yet. Any ways I was just thinking guys no harm in that. Just my opinion but I'd like a guy who is experienced in the system we plan on having that's all.

I just saw this thread pop up after I just watched him throw a side arm duck.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting him to compete for the job (if he were to come) but having him on the sidelines during games would be hugely invaluable for the starter I think.

Do you really believe what you just typed here? Good Gosh we have the whole Cincinnati coaching staff here now, why don't we just move Neyland stadium to Cincinnati and use their whole team not just their Backup QB's!!!

Guess you missed where I said I never expected him or wanted him to start. All I'm saying is potentially adding a guy who has 3 years in the Butch Jones offense would be a big deal for our current QBs.

Most of you guys seem to forget that we beat Cinn by 20 something in 2011. I hardly doubt there is much any player outside of maybe two or three that could help us. Let's pray the coaches can get it done. One thing I can tell you is that recruiting 2 and 3 star players won't get it done in the SEC.

Just because lynchburg is home to Jack Daniels doesn't mean drinking the entire bottle is a good idea:frown::cool2:
