Well, I HOPE C.J blows everybody else out of the water. He didn't have to stick around all ths time at UT waiting for a chance to play.

I'm another fan who really hopes C.J. takes the QB spot and puts his stamp on it. I feel bad for the guy, given the ups and downs he's been through, and as much as I dislike his younger brother, I would especially like to see him outplay Chris in the UT/UF game this year. Go C.J. - we're pulling for you!

I fully agree that CJ deserves the chance to be starting quarterback,He did wait his turn.But deserveing and having what it takes to get the nod is two different things.I have faith that the coaches will sort that out for us all.It would be a shame if he`s not picked.But I dont want the underdog. I want the next National Championship!

Is one or two games at the beginning of the season enough to determine a QB's merit, though? I have a slightly uneasy feeling that if C.J. is picked to start, but has anything less than a stellar performance, he will be pulled quicker than an abscessed tooth. I wish we didn't have UF so early in the season. It really isn't fair to C.J. when you stop to think about it.

I'm all for CJ, I stayed at the late season blowouts against Vandy and Miss State, and got to see him perform in a game situation. He did an outstanding job. I think he will be your starter, but I still believe that a freshman will take over by game 3 or 4.
