I've not been in the loop or heard much about the NBA so my bad if this is old news or already been posted..

Was reading some interesting things about Watson's future with the Bulls and what a tough break if it plays out like that. I'm guessing Derrick Rose is going to miss a lot of the season next year and they are looking for a quality starter / backup. Watson only makes 3.4 and I know there is better PGs out there but it seems like a steal for that price. Maybe the playoffs have a lot to do with that but I think Watson would make a pretty decent PG if given a chance and not put in a starter role in the most important game(s) to date.

Either way, he either looks to be traded or to become a free agent again. The article I read was pre draft and had him possible involved in a 4 team trade that would send him to Memphis. Has anyone heard anything about his status in Chicago or any other trade talks?

This is all understandable. He is not a starter in the NBA. He's a good role-player, backup point, though. If it doesn't work out for him in Chicago, he's good enough to land on his feet somewhere else. It's business, I'm sure he understands that.

Knicks, Dallas, Phoenix, and Nuggets seem like good fits and in that order from best.

I would like to see him in a Lakers jersey it would be a good for with him backing up sessions.

Come to the Celtics Watson!! Be a nice 3 headed monster with him playing next to Rondo and Avery Bradley.

If you ask me the Bulls need to off load Carlos Boozer. Dude's game is lame and he never plays clutch.

Considering both are pg im sure he would be Rondos backup. Now If he went to Miami he could battle Chalmers for starter minutes as Id say they are about equal.

Would Miami have the money to pay Watson the kind of money other teams might offer? The big 3 are a huge hit on the cap.

Im not sure. They are trying to lure Ray Allen and even there cant pay what Boston can. I just said Miami instead of Boston for CJ if he wanted an oppurtunity to be as good as starter. I cant stand Rondo but CJ isnt taking his minutes.

I think chalmers is a great for for Miami, and has really progressed his game. Growing up with the big 3 has really benefited him.

Chalmers started getting some recognition late in the season. I think he's a fine PG for Miami. Not sure if I could see Watson fitting in, but who knows...

It's harder to gel with those 3 than people realize, and to know when to look for your scoring, it's a fine line. Chalmers has it figured out perfect now, and outside of adding a guy like Allen, and maybe a big I wouldn't touch that roster.

I agree on the Rondo thing. CJ going to Boston would mean a lot of riding the bench.

They indeed could. They are looking at Fisher and If I'm not mistaken, they make about the same (well what OKC paid him).

The Nets are going to be dangerous next year. I can't imagine what would have happend if they would have actually signed Kidd along with Williams. I expected them to be a package deal but with the way the chips fell, Kidd is gonna resign with the Mavs.

Just a few hours too early.

lol yah. I was really shocked to see Kidd go to the Knicks. No way anyone seen that coming. The beautiful thing about Kidd is he realizes how old he is and is playing it smart. He wants to take a step back and play some backup in a smaller light. I don't see New York not matching Houstans offer for Lin but stranger things have happend. (Nash going to the Lakers maybe lol)

K. This is official. He's now an unrestricted free agent. Best of luck to him and I really hope he lands somewhere.
